Southern Seaplane, Inc. was founded in 1954 by Phil Panepinto as an air charter operation mainly catering to oil field personnel. Today it has grown to a full scale operation offering executive charters, fishing trips, and a wide variety of air tours. Phil’s son, Lyle purchased the company in 2007, which is located on the Westbank of the Mississippi River across from downtown New Orleans in the city of Belle Chasse. Southern Seaplane, Inc. continuously strives to maintain the highest standards of quality possible.
