Fishing Charters

Within 30 minutes from departing Southern Seaplane, you will step out of the plane for some of the finest wade fishing in the region. Fish the Chandeleur Islands, a true sportsmans paradise!

Fish the Louisiana Barrier Islands by Seaplane!

Let one of our experienced fishing guides fly your party out to the beautiful Louisiana barrier islands for a day of surf fishing. Just forty-five minutes after you lift off from our facility at Belle Chasse, you’ll arrive at the unspoiled islands off the coast of Louisiana where big redfish and yellow mouth trout are waiting. Enjoy up to five hours of fishing in unspoiled surroundings then just board the plane for a relaxing forty-five minute flight back to Belle Chasse.

What to bring…

You will need fishing gear, tackle, food and drinks. One 48quart ice chest per plane please. Current LA fishing license required. (May be purchased locally)

What to wear…

Keep in mind you will be wade fishing in waist deep water.

Summer-Short pants, tennis shoes or aqua socks.
-NO LONG PANTS

Winter-Waders are necessity. We do fish year round.

Pilot will act as guide and remain with party throughout the trip.

This Exciting package combines all the sights of the New Orleans Bayou Tour with the addition of a flight to Kraemer, Louisiana. You will have one hour on the ground to tour this unique Cajun town and get close up to the wildlife common to this area.
